Founded in 2012 by Eli McCarthy and Jason Godwin, Mayan Monkey is Mijas Pueblo's chocolate factory, workshop, and café. Located in the main square of this famous white village, the factory offers a fully viewable production floor, free tours, and hands-on chocolate workshops for families, couples, school groups, and corporate teams. Everything is made with slave-free, single-origin cacao — no palm fats or cheap substitutes. Workshops range from 30-minute express sessions to full chocolatier masterclasses. The factory also serves fresh cakes, organic gelatos, and handmade sorbets. Just 30 minutes from Málaga and Marbella.
